  • After the deadline, if space is available, there will be a $10 late fee per gymnast.

Scratch Deadline

Requests for refunds will be accepted until December 5, 2026. After that date, we are committed to expenses and will be unable to refund any entry fees for any reason, regardless of the circumstances.

In the event of circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Capital Gymnastics—including but not limited to acts of nature, severe weather, government restrictions, public health emergencies (including COVID-19), labor disputes, power outages, or other force majeure events—Capital Gymnastics reserves the right to amend, postpone, or cancel the Capital Classic. Capital Gymnastics shall not be held liable for any costs, damages, or expenses incurred by participants as a result of such amendment, postponement, or cancellation.

Eligibility Requirements

Who Can Compete?

To participate in The Capital Classic, athletes must be registered members of USA Gymnastics. Competitors should have a valid membership number and be in good standing with the organization. The competition is open to athletes across various levels, ensuring a broad spectrum of talent and skill. Coaches are encouraged to verify their athletes’ eligibility well in advance to avoid any last-minute issues. Please ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.

Additionally, athletes must adhere to age requirements specific to their competition level. Detailed information on age brackets and level-specific criteria will be provided closer to the event date. We are committed to maintaining a fair and exciting competition environment for all participants.
